pullover 2 in cotton canvas (tea)
After many years of trial and error, I have my outfit formula down: high-waisted pants and a cropped shirt. It's a super comfortable look and I love the silhouette it creates. I also know that I'm totally in love with canvas for its amazing structure and sturdiness. Just pair with high-waisted pants (pant 1, perhaps?) or your favorite vintage jeans.
The color of the fabric is named "tea" since it's pretty close to how I like my earl grey tea to look in the morning after I've added the cream: a very light beige. Sort of like the pages of an old library book.
Also available in hemp organic cotton canvas in the color "cinder."
I've designed my "open size" garments to accommodate a range of sizes. Open size 2 has 6" more "ease" in the bust and both sizes are the same length. Kaylee, pictured first, wears os 1. Emma, pictured second, wears os 1.
Bust measurement: 24 1/2"
Bust measurement: 27 1/2"
*Please note that because of the handmade nature of my clothes there could be slight variations in these measurements. I consider this my own little act of "wabi sabi" which is the Japanese concept of the beauty in imperfection.
Fabric content: duck cotton canvas
Care instructions: Wash separately in cold water on delicate cycle. Dry on low heat. Remove promptly. Press...or don't.
*this fabric is not something I would consider "sustainable," but I'll be making the switch to hemp organic cotton canvas this fall.
