smock 1 in organic cotton (foam)
Say “hello” to smock 1, a style that I’ve been perfecting for six over months. When I first came up with this piece, I imagined a sculptural top with a simple, straight hem. The longer length provides some nice variety amongst the shorter tops that I currently offer. It pays homage to artists everywhere who throw larger shirts over their clothes while they work. My hope is that this top will serve you while you’re working and while you’re not (especially while you’re not). This shirt is made of organic cotton: a breathable, structured fabric that is grown without the use of pesticides (yay!) I’ll be wearing mine all summer with wide-leg jeans and broken-in leather slides.
I've designed my "open size" (os) garments to accommodate a range of sizes. Os 2 has 6" more "ease" in the bust and hips than os 1. Both sizes are the same length. Eri is 5’7” and has a bust measurement of 34'“, a waist measurement of 27” and a hip measurement of 36.” She wears os 1.
Bust measurement: 26 1/2”
Bust measurement: 29 1/2”
*Please note that because of the handmade nature of my clothes there could be slight variations in these measurements. I consider this my own little act of "wabi sabi" which is the Japanese concept of the beauty in imperfection.
