tunic 1 in textured silk noil
I'm a big fan of long tunics and dresses worn over pants. It's a look I've loved for as long as I can remember, but I've only recently felt comfortable enough to sport the look myself. So I love this piece as it represents confidence to me. I also love this piece since it's the flowiest of the bunch and can accommodate the widest range in sizes. The drape of the fabric is just lovely and there's a beautifully subtle woven texture. While I imagined this piece to be worn over trousers, I could also see it in the summer with a great pair of sandals.
While the last version of tunic 1 featured a raw edge detail at the hem, this version has a finished hem. The length is also slightly shorter.
The color of this fabric falls between my "tea" canvas and "foam" cotton and linen. I could call it "tea foam," but let's just call it cream for simplicity's sake.
I've designed my "open size" (os) garments to accommodate a range of sizes This garment has a roomy fit and will best fit a size 0-16. Kaylee and Emma both wearing os 1.

*Please note that because of the handmade nature of my clothes there could be slight variations in these measurements. I consider this my own little act of "wabi sabi" which is the Japanese concept of the beauty in imperfection.
