Skirt 2 is a classic wardrobe piece that you'll reach for time and time again. It's a simple gathered skirt with inseam pockets and a wonderful twirl-y shape. What's cool about this design is that very little fabric is wasted in its construction across all 8 sizes. We cut each size to fit the width of the fabric which reduces waste and creates a full, floaty skirt. I love this skirt in summer with a tank and in fall with an oversized sweater and brogues.  

Cinder gingham requires more work due to the nature of cutting the pattern so the price is a bit higher.

Let me tell you a little bit about this special fabric. It’s a beautiful yarn-dyed linen made in small batches at a European mill. This mill uses renewable energy to supply their operation. Linen is, quite simply, magic. It is naturally organic as the flax plant grows well in low quality soil (so no fertilizers), is naturally pest-resistant (so no pesticides), and requires less water to grow than cotton. It moisture wicks very well, but can also keep you warm in the cold. Like I said…magic.
